An Entity of Type : owl:Thing, within Data Space : dbkwik.org associated with source dataset(s)

Dathomirians, or Dathomiri were a sentient species native to the Outer Rim Territories world of Dathomir. Although the term was originally a reference to the Human culture of Force-sensitive Witches of Dathomir, it eventually evolved to describe the hybrid species born from sexual interaction between Dathomir's Human female Nightsisters and their male Zabrak subordinate Nightbrothers. While male Dathomirians retained a majority of the traits of their Zabrak ancestors, female Dathomirians exhibited pale skin and no vestigial horns. At least one female Dathomiri, Asajj Ventress, was commonly referred to as Rattataki—a pale-skinned species from Rattatak that resembled the Dathomirians.

At least one female Dathomiri, Asajj Ventress, was commonly referred to as Rattataki—a pale-skinned species from Rattatak that resembled the Dathomirians. Despite the nomenclature being specifically assigned to the Human-Zabrak hybrid species that evolved on Dathomir, the terms "Dathomirian" and "Dathomir" were also often used to describe the pure-blooded Humans who were Witches of Dathomir.
