  • Elekiwi Prime was a planet located in or around Federation space. As of the 2330s, Elekiwi Prime was a dying world which was increasingly beleaguered by volcanic eruptions and the resulting clouds of carbon dioxide. Because of this, it was extremely difficult to extract anything from the planet. Despite that, a Federation research team traveled to the planet in 2333 and was able to extract a variety of exotic flora from the surface, which was immediately dispatched to Starfleet Medical via a cargo ship. Unfortunately, the cargo ship was attacked and the cargo stolen by the notorious pirate, the "White Wolf". (STA novel: Gauntlet)
