While sharing the name with a party previously in existance in the early, 21st century, there is no line of succession to connect the two, nor did they share any other similarities. At first it concentrated soley on promoting high tech developments within the nation. However, these efforts continually failed against the luddite nature of the later Xpanius monarchy. It was with some reluctance that the Frontier Party, conceived as a fringe party, threw itself headlong with other parties such as Sinistra, in challenging the monarchy. With this at last successfully accomplished, the Frontier Party collapsed as its members, many of them now seasoned politicos, joined more mainstream organizations of the new Republique. 2483 would be the final election the Frontier would be present in, and voted last in 2484. Renamed after this to the High Frontier Society, the party became a NGO advocating science and engineering education.
