The Kobold also changed the Baronet, Barnard von Spielburg, into a bear, after Barnard entered the cave and demanded the Kobold bow to him and refused to leave. The spell hinged on the magic shackle on the bear's leg, which could be unlocked, and the transformation undone, by the key the Kobold wore.
