| - Edward Heyworth was a Dranian politician, former chairman of the the right-wing Grand National Party and former leader of the opposition. Heyworth assumed the position of party chairman in 3322, following the resignation of Jennifer Howard. Heyworth was noted for his call to go "back to the roots", meaning that the GNP shall aim at restoring the old order and repeal all reforms of the left-wing government of Unity and PAC. Heyworth considers himself an "old-style conservative", however he also said that he had "tolerant positions on social issues like marriage". Heyworth led the GNP in the elections of 3326, however he did not succeed in winning a majority to become Prime Minister. In the following tenure, he led the opposition against the Unity-PAC government and advocated a "roll-back"-agenda aimed at restoring Dranland's previous liberal order in terms of education and markets. However, he failed to win the elections again in September 3330 and subsequently resigned from his positions. He remained an active MP. In June 3322, he was appointed party treasurer of the GNP. In 3334, he was the GNP candidate for Lord Chancellor, however he lost by a wide margin.
