The Bluntschli's vanga (Hypositta perdita), also known as the short-toed nuthatch-vanga, is a possible invalid species of bird previously assigned to the Vangidae family. It is endemic to Madagascar and is only known from two juvenile specimens collected in 1931. In 2013, a genetical analyses has been revealed that the two known fledglings represent a rare brown color morph of the white-throated oxylabes.
