Unlike the previous game's soundtrack, this soundtrack pulls more from the scores of the films, primarily from the score of The Empire Strikes Back, however instead of tracking the recordings of John Williams' themes in, Mark Griskey instead opted to recompose certain themes from the film, for instance, "Assault on Kamino" contains the Imperial March and Battle of Hoth motifs from The Empire Strikes Back, and Mystery theme from Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones, and the final track, "The Reunion of Juno and Starkiller" ends with the Carbon Freeze motif from The Empire Strikes Back. As with the first game's score, the music was recorded at Skywalker Sound and is available for listening on tracksounds.com.
