| - Abeo followed Pantene into a large room with a huge glass cube in the centre. Pantene walked up to a computer on the wall and typed in… “8…7…7…2…3… and…5.” Pantene walked up to another computer console and removed a small chip. He walked up to the glass cube and slid the chip into it through a small post box shape gap. Pantene then walked back to Abeo, then faced the cube as Abeo was doing. Slowly, from the chip a blue smoke appeared and quickly filled the cube. Then a small green liquid appeared from the chip, it dripped for about fifteen minutes until it covered the base of the cube in a thin green layer. The blue gas seemed attracted to it and almost instantaneously vanished into the liquid turning hard and solid. “For an hour or two the solid slowly changed into the template of a vessel, it was shaped like a triangular prism, but curved. On each side were two protruding claws. The forward two held two tri-static torpedoes each, both rechargeable. As well as a compliment of twelve highly dangerous disruptic dual-titanic pulsar phasers, or something similar. Then, all of a sudden, the vessel disappeared. “What!” Shouted Pantene, “What happened, where is it?” “Its still there,” Abeo replied “Its.. Its hiding, because its frightened” “Frightened?, how is that possible, its only a ship, not even the Genosome vessels are suppose to feel.” “Well it does, and its feeling terrified right now. Maybe I could reassure it that we are safe.” “WE! are safe, hey, that vessel’s the one with four tri-statics and 24 dual-titanics, and your telling me were safe!” “Just, keep quiet now, O.K.” “Fine, I’ll keep quiet.” Abeo knelt down by the edge of the glass cube and closed his eyes. For the next minute or two he knelt and stayed silent, saying nothing. Then, all of a sudden out of nowhere, the vessel in the cube reappeared. “What just happened?” Pantene enquired at this moment “I told Xerces that were not here to harm her.” “Xerces, you’ve named it?” “Please, don’t refer to her as it, her name is Xerces.” “Fine, sorry Abeo, sorry Xerces.” Pantene walked up to the console and pressed another button, and slowly, the floor began to rise. The roof retracted and light came through. It took a while for the floor to rise and lock on the surface. The cube cracked, and then exploded into thousands of shards of glass spraying the surrounding area. “Ok then, lets get loaded up.” Pantene said. Pantene, Abeo and several others began loading up supplies into Xerces cargo bay, they arranged their quarters, toured the ship and even discovered that an experimental Hyperdrive system had been installed. The T-456, you could travel from Coruscant to Chandrila in a matter of ¾ to 1 hour with this engine. They checked the bridge. It had a Captains chair in the centre, two chairs in front of it to either side. One for Weapons, and one for Flight Controls. The Seconds chair was situated on the far right hand side of the bridge, next to a console. Presumably for Ship diagnostics and internal sensor sweeps. The Captains chair had a small computer attached to it to give the Captain 100% control of Ships systems and diagnostics. The Glass at the front of the bridge was designed with an experimental armour plating system designed to withstand the pulls of space. “Fine,” Said Pantene, once Xerces had been loaded up. “All packed up and ready to go?” “Yep.” replied Abeo “Great, now, lets get out of here.” And with that, Xerces lifted off and began to leave the planets atmosphere. “Punch in the coordinates for Ossus, we need to be there within a week.” Abeo shouted. “Punching in coordinates,” Pantene replied loudly. “Hey, maybe we could get a crew for Xerces when we get to Ossus, that’s were all the best star pilots are.” “Yeah, maybe.” And with that the Hyperdrive engines engaged and a sudden jolt of power sent Abeo, Pantene and the Xerces flying into Hyperspace.
