| Synopsis
| - The Flash races towards what he knows will be his death in order to destroy the anti-matter cannon which threatens the universe. He looks back over his life and bids farewell to those he loves in his mind as he is absorbed into the Speed Force.
- Aquaman leaves the League, only a few weeks after he drastically altered its make-up, and the surviving old-timers wonder if there is a League any more. The League is then called in to a crisis in New York, where they and numerous other heroes encounter a huge metallic monolith and destructive shadow beings. They are then summoned elsewhere by Harbinger, who tells them of the Anti-Monitor's plan to destroy the universe by bleeding all time eras into each other. The younger members of the League try to keep the Monitor's machine safe while dealing with the converging time streams. Gypsy runs off in the midst of battle, feeling there's nothing she can do. But she is met by her older self, who tells her what she should do. Gypsy tells Vibe to augment the vibrations of the machine, which he does, bringing it up to full capacity and halting the immediate danger. There is still much to do, but the new members of the League are beginning to prove themselves.
- Tully Reed is persuaded by G. Gordon Godfrey to print some anti-metahuman stories. He remembers the death of his love, Roz, in the Crisis, when Vixen was moments too late to save her, letting Tully down. But before the article goes to press, he realizes that it was his unreasonable expectations, not the Justice League, who were at fault, and pulps the entire print run.
