Hugh Edward Hoare (26 March 1854 - 15 July 1929) was a brewer and Liberal Party politician. The sixth son of Henry Hoare, a banker, he was educated at Eton College and Balliol College, Oxford. He became a director of Hoares’ Brewery and of the National Provident Institution. He was briefly a member of the London School Board, co-opted to fill a casual vacancy in the representation of Westminster in March 1884, he stood down at the next school board elections at the end of 1885.
