Trey was a young haremaiden in the Long Patrol, and the sister of Trug Bawdsley. She, Gilbee, Dobbs, and Dunwiddy tricked the inexperienced young Badger Lady of Salamandastron into putting them on outside patrol one night, something hares of their young age were not allowed to do. While they were sitting about their watch fire, the four young hares were mowed down by the wheeled ship Greenshroud, and shot full of arrows from the vermin crew of the ship to make sure they were well and truly dead. Trug later found his sister's body on the shore with the other three, and gave her a proper burial.
