34th Street Station is an underground stop on SEPTA's Market-Frankford Line. The station is located below the intersection of 34th & Market Streets (Avenue of Technology), in the University City section of Philadelphia. The station was built on June 20, 1956 by the Philadelphia Transit Company. 34th Street Station is on the campus of Drexel University and near University of Pennsylvania. SEPTA bus routes that serve 34th Street are Routes 30, 31 & the LUCY routes.
