The only living soul, that can be met in between these two paths is Ralston, who lives in a hut next to the Wall of Trees, a U-like structure, that is habitat of a number of dangerous creatures. Northeast of that Wall, the Marali Lake can be found. A smaller Wall of Trees with a Rock Structure can be found, if one follows the tip of the larger on to the East. Whereas if following it straight to the west, one arrives at the Mercenary Cave.

  • The only living soul, that can be met in between these two paths is Ralston, who lives in a hut next to the Wall of Trees, a U-like structure, that is habitat of a number of dangerous creatures. Northeast of that Wall, the Marali Lake can be found. A smaller Wall of Trees with a Rock Structure can be found, if one follows the tip of the larger on to the East. Whereas if following it straight to the west, one arrives at the Mercenary Cave. There is only one road going straight through the Marali forest, named after one of the first two commandesr of Marali: Adams Road, a rather dangerous Road to travel on alone. It originates at the Marali Portal and leads West from there, passing the Dragon Riders Guild Hall and the Gaper Coast, ultimately merging with the Northern Trail that leads around the Rocks of the Tree Maze west to Duldrus. Kangs Road, named after the other commander, originating in Aborek, leads Southwest at the Edge of the Forest, following the Bleeding River, is not much less dangerous, yet offers the safety of the river. A fork offer the chance to follow the Northern Trail, if not one is led over the Marali Bridge, down to the Lerilin Bridge. The following Beasts can be found in the Marali Forest: Forest Dracos, Tuskers, Black Bears, Bone Mages, Gapers, Lions, Giants (mainly in the Northern part), Bracken, Gooeys, Rust Beasts, Fire Elementals, Giant Snakes, Poison Elementals, Earth Elementals, Air Elementals, Harpies, Trolls, Zombies, Sludge Beasts and Skeletons. And of course, packs of Wolves, the odd Dog and Sheep, and sometimes Pixies. Especially the area between the Wall of Trees and the Mercenary Cave, can usually filled with immense amount of hostile Beasts and it can be dangerous to travel the forest alone. The closest options for a Rescue, if no Cleric is close, are the Dragon Riders Guild Hall , the Looting Jesters, Citrinitas Aegis or the Marali Vanguard, if you don't want to go back to town Whether or not the territories below the Northern Trail and below Kangs Road after the Marali Bridge belong to Marali is not clear, whereas the territory above Kangs Road after the Marali Bridge seems to be clearly Maralian territory, sometimes called Southern Marali Woods.
