The U.S.S. Borealis is a destroyer- class vessel associated with the United States Navy. Borealis, after the ship's doctor was discovered to have been killed by reasons other than the storm, was brought into Norfolk Naval Yard and the ship's crew placed under lock-down while the NCIS Major Case Response Team led by Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs and with Tim McGee as one of the members processed the scene and determined who the killer was.
