The Intimidator-class Star Destroyer also known unofficially (but just as commonly) as the Imperial III-class Star Destroyer, was a class of Star Destroyer used by the Galactic Merchants Union, primarily by the Free Echani Alliance. It was built on the keel design of the Imperial-class Star Destroyer with many of the design flaws worked out. It had a more efficient shield placement system, power routing, and weapons placement. The biggest flaw dealt with was rear defense, the Intimidator-class unlike the Imperial-class, had a number of laser cannons arced to the rear. To compensate for the additional weapons, and other systems the ship was a fair bit larger, six hundred meters longer. Its size lead to it being designated as a "Heavy Star Destroyer" and was also referred to as a "Super Star
