Breezepaw is a young apprentice, with very dark gray fur, only a shade under black, and bright, autumn amber eyes. In the moons he had grown, many looked at him with sympathy, or suspicion. Had he killed the black kit with blue eyes? Had he killed his own sister? With a cat he knows acting more and more suspiciously, will his confidence boost, or will he fail, losing his life, his Clan, and the belief that his sister may be alive after all?
- Whispers in the Dark is a short story about Alexandra Winger by Charlene Newcomb. It was first published in Star Wars Adventure Journal 2 by West End Games in May 1994.
- It was night. Stars glittered in the sky, shining brightly, but the large trees of the rainforest only allowed a little light in. Birdsong blinked. She was dreaming, she knew it. What else could explain her floating just above the ground? She looked around for anyone else, even giving out a clear meow to see if a cat was hiding in the shadows. She dropped to the floor, giving out a sigh. Then she heard it. A voice. She knew it, but couldn't recall... and then she realised. It was Hawkblaze. Hawkblaze had stopped in front of her. "Help," she whispered. But there was silence. She was alone.

Sarah Monroe heard about the oncoming blizzard and left her Minnesota home to buy extra food and water. After returning home, she was snowed in for 17 days. Officials found her on the 18th day wandering the snow entrenched streets; barefoot, covered in injuries of unknown origin and babbling about something she called “The Whispers”. This is her story. Sarah had hoped to beat the Y2K-esque mob of customers buying up all the water, bread, and batteries. She was not so lucky.
- The strange being ran the palm of its hand along the prison wall, caressing the fine texture, when suddenly, it stepped head first into it, phasing through it as if it had never once been of solid properties. As if abiding to the laws of this vigilante for whatever reason, the wall allowed entrance, clearly dismissing any hints of logic in the process. It left behind a momentarily sway --in the form of a capillary ripple-- and seized in movement altogether once the hooded figure appeared on the other side. Without hesitation, the black ant carried along through the dismissive hallways of the prized castle, allowing for the tapping of its bare feet to echo throughout the construct.
