Marico (VWM126) was born into the Whiskers Mob on February 7, 2008. His mother was Ella and his father was Homstar Runner. His litter mates, Oriole (VWF127) and Sabota (VWM128). The Whiskers were down in numbers at that time do to evictions and roving. The group consisted of adults Rocket Dog, Machu Pichu, Ella, Wily Kat, Wollow, Busta, Axel, Rufus, Rhogan Josh and pups Nugget, Beaker and Juno. Rocket Dog's pups Nugget and Beaker were older by three months while Amira's pup Juno was older by one. At a few weeks old, a snake went down the birth burrow indangering Marico and his siblings. Rocket Dog the dominant female, was bitten by the snake while saving Marico and his siblings giving their mother a chance to evacuate them. She survived the bit. The group consisted of adults Rocket Dog, Machu Pichu, Ella, Wily Kat, Wollow, Busta, Axel, Rufus, Rhogan Josh and pups Nugget, Beaker and Juno. Rocket Dog's pups Nugget and Beaker were older by three months while Amira's pup Juno was older by one. At a few weeks old, a snake went down the birth burrow indangering Marico and his siblings. Rocket Dog the dominant female, was bitten by the snake while saving Marico and his siblings giving their mother a chance to evacuate them. She survived the bit. Marico, his sister and brother survived their first few weeks and began to foraged with the adults. They often playfight with their cousins Nugget, Beaker and Juno. In April 2008, Rocket Dog died and their mother took over dominance. On May 6, 2008, Machu Pichu, the dominant male, was bitten by a snake. The same night Amira died possibely killed by the same snake. Machu Pichu survived the snake bit though. Two months after Rocket Dog died, Machu Pichu, Wollow, Axel, Rhogan Josh and Rufus left the Whiskers and emigrated into the Lazuli kicked out all the adult males. Thundercat was one of the Lazuli males kicked out of the group. He joined the Whiskers and became the new dominant male. Busta died of Tuberculosis, shortly after Thundercat joined the group while Beaker dissapeared. Wiley Kat died some time later. In July Marico got a littler brother named Savuka and then in October he got another six littler of sisters and brothers. Soon Marico got another four brothers. Marico roved a few times in January. In July 2009 to Kung Fu, led by his uncle Ningaloo and Kleithje attacked the Whiskers. HIs litter brother Pumplemousse and sister Popple dissapeared. He and his brother Sabota and his cousins Nugget, Juno and half brother Savuka went roving and dissapeared. Marico was seen roving at the Rascals in November where he may have mated with Rioja. Marico was Last Seen in January 2010. They might have joined wild females.
