The Cody's Hotel is a luxury hotel located in Midtown south of New York. It is near the Vinci Mansion compound. In 1973 it was burnt down, but was later re-built in 1977. It has 20 floors, has a large underground parking lot, and a meeting room for The Commission on the 17th floor. It is the main location where the assassination of Marina Brothers took place. Vito Corleone and Joe Clemenza are ordered to assassinate Marina Brothers at a mob summit by planting a bomb under the table. They survive (they were outside when the bomb went off) and try to escape. Vito and Joe's getaway driver, Marty is shot and killed in the underground garage.
