| - The absence of control over bolt direction makes wands of ball lightning more dangerous than useful in most cases. In the best case scenario the PC will damage his/her target and avoid the bolt himself/herself, in the worst case scenario the opposite results will be achieved. However, in rare cases wands of ball lightning may still save the PC in a life-threatening encounter.

Wands of ball lightning are made of wood which distinguishes them from other wands that weigh 4 stones. Therefore, zapping 4s wand, should be done with precautions. Applying Metallurgy skill is also a viable option. This wand has a range of 16/8/6 for B/U/C respectively. Additional 1 range is added for each 5 character levels.
