Silver Chomps are a new species of Chain Chomps appearing in Super Mario Galaxy 2. They work just like the other Chain Chomps in the game; however, these ones seem to follow Mario, making them more or less easier to defeat or avoid. Silver Chomps are invulnerable to Mario's attacks unless he uses a rainbow star to defeat them or a bouncy plant. Silver Chomps have red pupils that roll around in their eyes.
