The Big Boom was the cantina on Nova Station. It featured Bobolo Baker's All-Bith Band. After escaping from GAG custody, Ben Skywalker stopped on Nova Station to rendezvous with Trista Zel and Taryn Zel, twin sisters in Hapan Security, and to send Lon Shevu's body to his wife, Shula Shevu, on Vaklin. As they departed the station, they were ambushed by SD-XX, who attempted to kill Ben, but was shoved out an airlock after a brief duel. The trio attempted to rendezvous with Prince Isolder, but Isolder was captured and imprisoned on the Anakin Solo.

  • The Big Boom was a starship discovered in the Mez'Dora Corridor by Balzak's Fleet. Its builders are unknown, and it was left abandoned in good condition for unknown reasons. The ship is small but powerful, having absurdly high shield strength and powerful lasers. However, once the shields are down, its hull strength is very low, probably due to the ship's small size.

The ship is small but powerful, having absurdly high shield strength and powerful lasers. However, once the shields are down, its hull strength is very low, probably due to the ship's small size. The ship's control room was also small, probably the bare minimum size possible, allowing the rest of the ship's space to be used for shield generators, lasers, and engines. As such, it's the size of a small bathroom -- and does incorporate a toilet and shower (but no bed). (Balzak Globotron Series: "Balzak Globotron")
