One day, the New Tuscan freighter Hélène Blondeau entered the system and exploded almost instantly. Reprise's commanding officer, Lieutenant Commander Denton, reported to the his superiors in the Spindle System that he believed the ship was blown up deliberately to support New Tuscany's claim of Manticoran harassment.
