During this stopover, Bonaventure met the miners and even married one via subspace radio marriage. (TOS: "Mudd's Women" ) Ruth Bonaventure was played by Maggie Thrett. The character's last name was not spoken on screen but was in the final draft script of the episode. (Star Trek Encyclopedia (3rd ed., p. 423) )
