The Bill Against Bush-walking (2017), Act 2714 or The Anti Billabong Act as some MPs(Members of Parliament)took to calling it was a bill that categorized walking tracks across Australia in an attempt to abate the recent rise in missing persons, injuries and deaths of people whilst bush-walking. The bill successfully passed through the upper and lower houses but was unsuccessful at the last stage of the process when the Governor General, Sir Peter Cosgrove refused to sign the bill. Act 2714
