Young Toys is one of the few South Korean toy companies that, during the 1980s and early 1990s, purchased the license to produce robot toys from companies like Bandai and Hasbro. After Young Toys' rival Sonokong produced Takara Transformers toys in the early 2000's, Young Toys resumed producing Transformers toys with their short-lived two-toy line of Alternators in 2007, which consisted of Wheeljack and Skids. Young Toys' trademark is an elephant.
