Founded by Tetan-born Dr. Elishia Crowley, the GWDB has slowly expanded its reach across the galaxy. Despite its scope and popularity, GDWB has suffered extensive shortages of money and support. While both Republic and Imperial governments applaud the efforts of the GDWB, they are hesitent to provide any funding when they learn of their enemies recieving medical attention as well. Consequently the GDWB is left to seek funding from private sources.
