  • The Coalition for Purity was a pure demon supremacist group, similar to the Scourge, which sought to exterminate the human race and all half-breeds. It was led by Axtius, the father of the deceased half-Brachen demon Allen Francis Doyle. The Coalition staged attacks in both Sunnydale and Los Angeles, prompting the Scooby Gang and the Angel Investigations team to join forces to thwart their efforts to destroy a colony of half-breeds. Although both sides met with heavy casualties, when the Old One, Garth, ordered the fighting to stop, both sides withdrew, with Axtius the only one willing to continue the fight due to his rage against Angel.
