| Synopsis
| - After avenging the deaths of the Wyatt family by killing the cultists who murdered them and cursed the land on which their home stood, Ron hopes that he has taken the first steps to saving his family. Unfortunately, the ghost of Robert Wyatt returns to explain that they cannot undo the present by changing the past. The curse that holds them there is born of chaos, and Ron's efforts will likely do nothing for them. Still he believes that he can save his family. Unfortunately, the killers begin rising from death, and Wyatt and his family are soon enveloped in bugs and worms, reasserting the control that the cultists have over the spirits who died there. Ron is too late to run, but he does manage to fight Robert Wyatt into submission. In a brief moment of consciousness, Wyatt urges Ron to crawl into the wound in his body, and get back to his family. After Ron reluctantly does so, Wyatt smiles, having deceived him.
Ron returns to the hotel, his form returning to that of his old self. He meets Ginny in the hallway and has her lead him to his family, who are still grieving the death of his daughter Donna. Ron's own tears spill onto Donna's eyes, and they flutter open, and she is revived. Seeing that he has the power to bring her back to life, Ron realizes that the key to this place is in believing. He hopes that if they believe they can escape, they will be able to. To prove his point, he states with confidence that there is a closet full of weapons for them to use, and opens it to reveal that it is so.
Thus armed, the family rushes out into the hall where they meet the Wyatt family again. Robert explains that he lied - they cannot leave, because the ghosts need their souls in order to leave themselves. The ghosts swarm around the family, and Ron gives the order to attack. Steeling themselves, they shoot, stab, and cut their way through the corpses to the exit, where their moving van awaits them outside. Only Ron hesitates as they rush outside and into the van, driving back to the house that has been waiting for them.
With relief, Judy and the kids run inside, realizing too late that Ron and Donna are still dead, and that they are still trapped in the hotel at Lot 13.
Meanwhile, their van has been booted, and ticketed for weeks, and finally, it is towed away from Lot 13, which remains empty.
