The 2009-10 All-American Hockey League season is the second season of the All-American Hockey League. The league welcomed two new franchises, the Detroit Hitmen and the Madison Ice Muskies. During the offseason before the 2009-10 season, the Chicago Blaze ceased operations. Due to financial issues, the Detroit Hitmen relocated from Fraser, Michigan to Muskegon, Michigan and changed their name to the West Michigan Blizzard on December 17. The 2010 All-Star Game was awarded to the Evansville IceMen and will be played at Swonder Ice Arena in Evansville, Indiana.
