During his career as a pirate he at one stage worked with two other pirate vessels named Trust Me and Profit, the latter of which was piloted by an individual named Druug, in attempted to capture the Helix–class light interceptor, Kizbon's Box, based a on tip from a female named Sahr whom Larken paid for the information. With Sahr as his gunner, Larken and his fellow pirates positioned themselves near the space station, Darknon Station under the cover of a magnetic storm in preparation to ambush their target. When the Box arrived the three ships moved in on the supposedly unarmed target with Larken thirsting to spill some blood.
