The first shoutout topic was created by Dr Pizza, who said "If Vice City beats Metroid Prime for 2nd place, i will do a youtube video... And shout out every single person who posts on here's name. >.>" The topic was a major success, getting over 300 posts by the end of the day and forcing Pizza to youtube over 10 minutes of video to get all the names in after Vice City finished ahead of Prime that day. From there out different B8ers promised shoutout videos for nearly every close match.
