The 1964 Tidewater 250 was a Grand National (now Nextel Cup) event held at Langley Field Speedway on May 15, 1964. Ned Jarrett dominated the event, leading 227 of the 250 laps in route to a three-lap victory on Marvin Panch. Eventual season champ Richard Petty finished last (17th) after engine failure on lap one.
