Song Notes: The Colourfield were basically a mid-80s vehicle for the brilliant Terry Hall (formerly of The Specials, Fun Boy Three, with a later solo career and various notable collaborations). It's from their "Virgins and Philistines" album, which is insanely hard to come by these days. There is definately a market for it, so it's kind of hard to rationalize why they haven't reissued it on cd (existing cds go for as much as $300 these days - insane!). Anyway, it's definately a cheesy song (as are many of Hall's compositions), but it's beautiful and charming all the same... - Aila
