| Text
| - "There are houses closer to the Grey Cliffs than ours, yet they are not taking action?"
- "We shall send forces to eradicate the Flintforge clan in the name of the gods of winter."
- "Why should we risk my sworn swords in the frozen hills above the Grey Cliffs?"
- Takk's eyes are sunken, his face haggard, and flecks of foamy spittle decorate his beard. His words are beyond all meaning.
- "Surely the gods of winter will stay the effects of Chieftain Takk's madness?"
- These clansmen are posted to keep the roads into the Grey Cliffs open, and to abduct fresh victims for their mad chieftain.
- "For the good of the realm, we shall send a sworn sword to isolate the Flintforges."
- "Why would the spirits be obliged to wear away at worldly evils, if all you knee-benders won't? Slay 'em all and fast, or the gods will forsake ye!"
- "My [lord/lady], our family gains little from going to war with this clan. I'd rather we treated with the Flintforge shaman first, and conserve our kin."
- "The houses nearest the clan are short of either the troops or the will to intervene. If we do not close the Grey Cliffs, this madness may spread."
- The Flintforge's shaman appears pensive, as if he is walking a very fine path.
- "We will not act in haste. Send a sworn sword to get answers from the Flintforge shaman."
- "My [lord/lady], disturbing news from the Grey Cliffs. The Flintforge clan is engaging in many strange rituals. Folk are being abducted and maimed..."
