Anna Escobedo Cabral (b. October 12, 1959-) is an American politician who served as the 42nd Treasurer of the United States, a position she carried out on January 19, 2005 after Rosario Marin left. She then became the highest-ranking Latina in the Bush Administration. She left on January 20, 2009 at the beginning of the Obama Administration, which a few months later chose Rosie Gumatao Rios for Treasurer. She was born in San Bernardino, California.
