Eugene has written Bible studies that have been translated and broadcast in many languages. In July 1990, Bible Basics installed regional missionary station Radio HRGS in Roatan, Honduras. Its broadcast target area is the Bay Islands and the coastal areas of Honduras, Guatemala, and Belize. While the Priddys were in Europe, Priddy had the initial idea of providing systematic basic Bible teaching for new and untaught believers. These studies were first written specifically for translation to help meet this need. Priddy graduated in 1959 from Piedmont Bible College in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, with a B.R.E. degree and in 1968 from Wheaton Graduate School of Theology with an M.A. in Christian education. On the fifth anniversary of Radio HRGS, he was given an honorary doctor’s degree by the Bay Island Baptist Association. Participating in the presentation were the governor of the Bay Islands and other officials of government, education, and the church. Priddy and his wife have five children and thirteen grandchildren. Eugene has authored a number of other books and tracts.
