The Coupe Magnus (Magnus Cup in English) is the trophy rewarding the champion of the French National League, the Ligue Magnus. The name of the Cup (and since 2004, of the league) refers to Louis Magnus, French figure skating champion from 1908 to 1911 and founder of the "Ligue Internationale de hockey sur glace". The trophy was created in 1985 in Chamonix by Tristan Alaric.
