| - The Kuat Imperial dropship landed, along side one other, on the outskirts of the Alliance base. As it did so, it's droid crane lowered the AT-ATs of Thundering Herd onto the ground. The other gunship did the same. Along with those, several Imperial Sith walkers were lowered as well. Smaller dropships deposited stormtrooper divisions onto the battlefield. Malcor watched the spectacle unfold. The Imperial forces were preparing in parade ground perscision. As he watched, his pilot and gunner were preparing the modified command walker, the Thunderer One, for combat. Malcor looked out over the nearby temples, armed with cannons and swarming with Alliance infantry troopers. Himron and his men better do the job right, he thought. General Himron was using a Chariot LAV command speeder as his transport. No, he himself was not taking part in the fighting. How many troops does the Alliance have? Malcor wondered. But then again, four divisions of stormtroopers could handle quite a bit. He would be surprised if they didn't win. Finally, the AT-ATs were ready, his officers reported on the comms. He could also hear the voices of the four divisional commanders giving their ready to Himron. "Major Xantar Makos here, the Twenty-fifth division is ready." "Major Amirkul Azimov, the Sixty-second is standing by." "Major Takar Vischera of the Fourty-sixth, we're ready." "Major Lonkin Okijima and the Eighty-ninth, we're ready." The order came from Captain Vyrkar to start the attack. The AT-ATs rumbled forward, as did the smaller Imperial Sith walkers. The stormtroopers spread out and charged at the temples nearby, as the guns began firing. Malcor, deciding to ease their advance, ordered the gunner to take out some of the enemy emplacements. "The ones in the bunkers ahead of us. Take them out." Malcor ordered. "Understood," the gunner, Captain Dyer, replied. The AT-AT opened fire, destroying one unsuspecting emplacement, blowing up the rest of it's temple bunker. The rest of the walkers began firing as well, picking up. The stormtroopers fired at the infantry of the Alliance, killing most of the ones in the front of the enemy line with deadly accuracy. The stormtroopers then dispersed, as the nearby temples exploded. Malcor marveled the architecture of the temples. I almost feel bad for destroying them, he thought. The walkers continued firing, though rocket launcher troopers destroyed several Imperial Sith walkers. "Take them out." Malcor told Dyer. He nodded and proceeded. Malcor suddenly wondered if they had fighters. Probably not. Most of the stormtroopers were now amongst the labyrinth of temple bunkers, outside his vision. The AT-ATs reached their line. Malcor watched Himron's Chariot go off down some road with a squad of troopers and an Imperial Sith walker. Thinking of something, Malcor looked into the distance. He could see the central temple tower from here. Where the Jedi and his commanders were. Quickly, he turned to Dyer. "Can our long range cannons hit that tower?" Malcor asked. "Negatory, sir." Damn, Malcor thought, disappointed. It was going to be a long push until they were in range.
