An unknown Navajo wizard wearing a painted mask and furs attacked Alexandra Quick, John Thompson, and Patricia Peshlakai on a summit of Witches' Rock in January of 2011. Thompson disabled the man by hitting him in the head with a pair of rocks. He later had his throat slashed by John Manuelito, but was rescued when Quick cast a Wound Relocating Charm that moved the cut from his neck to his thigh.
