In Gex Enter the Gecko and Gex 3 Deep Cover Gecko, Gex will find small TV sets in every level. To get the power-up Gex must whip the TV to release the fly inside. Then Gex can eat the fly and get a power-up. Some of the TV sets have a checkered screen. These are used for check-points. Whip them and a flash of light will shine and the word check-point will appear. If Gex dies he will teleport to that checkpoint.
