The Infinite Kingdom was a government formed from the collapsing Galactic Empire following the deaths of Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader at the Battle of Endor in 4 ABY. A Rakata in service of Imperial Intelligence, named Ikalik, took command a corps of troops and ordered them to go with him, taking several vessels. Using this force, Ikalik conquered several backwater, sparsely populated sectors in the Outer Rim Territories. He declared it a state independent of the Empire, known as the "Infinite Kingdom", and said that it was the official successor state to the Infinite Empire (which collapsed thousands of years ago). The Kingdom controlled those sectors with an iron fist, but was stopped by the New Republic in 8 ABY. In a mission to cleanse the region of the remaining Imperial warlords

Ikalik himself was able to flee and survive.
