He hid the Droid Foundry on Macnemere for 2 years, until the downfall of the Empire became noticable. Then he produced more, and more droids for the Neo Trade Federation cause. He sent the battle droid army to the planet of Byss, where in a massive space, and land battle he emerged victorious. After the Republic won battle after battle, Nute decided to join forces with them, because he knew he couldn't win against the Republic. He was given many rights, such as having access to all the Republic's trade routes. He then was told to sign the Treaty of Coracnemere, which he did gladly. Then he put his battle droid army into the Republic's ranks. They were intermingled
