It is a standard issue weapon to Peacekeepers and Agents, and is unusual in the fact that its muzzle flash is blue, unlike most other projectile weapons, whose flashes are orange. The EAR50 features an advantage over gang-issued submachine guns in its Agency technology: a large 480-round carry capacity and also electronic magnification lenses for enhanced range. It fires 12 rounds per second, one of the fastest fire rates of any Pacific City weapon. In the hands of a skilled agent it can be used as a capable sniper weapon. It is more comparable to the Harman MP-50 than the Ingalls MG-60 due to both the MP-50 and EAR50 having scopes that enable longer ranges.
