CC-5408 nicknamed "Spark" by his Jedi General Frobacca and the clones in his squad was a clone of Mandalorian Jango Fett. Trained as a clone commander on Kamino Spark was assigned to Frobacca and the two formed a squad inside the 212th Attack Battalion at the start of the Clone Wars and the two eventually served together during the war. However on Kashyyyk Frobacca was killed and the squad was assigned to Luminara Unduli whom Spark distrusted. However a few days after being assigned to Unduli, Spark received Order 66 and gladly executed it killing Luminara. After the formation of the Galactic Empire the men of Reek Squadron were put into the 501st Legion under the command of CC-1119 and Darth Vader.

After the formation of the Galactic Empire the men of Reek Squadron were put into the 501st Legion under the command of CC-1119 and Darth Vader. After serving the Empire for two years and fighting to protect it Spark and the remaining members of Reek Squad were assigned to attack a droid base which was recently found by a surviving separatist. Landing on the planet with the 501st, Reek Squad separated from the 501st to get to a sniping positions. While on the way up to the sniping position the squad was ambushed and half of the squad was killed including Spark.
