Fellow Star Trek alumni Bibi Besch, Leon Russom, and Michael Zaslow were also regulars on this series. Stratton went on to co-star with Sharon Acker and Monte Markham on the short-lived series, The New Perry Mason. This was followed by guest appearances on Petrocelli (where he worked with Logan Ramsey and series regulars Susan Howard and David Huddleston), Mannix, Wonder Woman (with Kenneth Tigar), and The Fantastic Journey (with Jason Evers). Stratton also co-starred with John Glover and Kelsey Grammer in the 1983 mini-series Kennedy.

In 1991, Stratton co-starred with future Star Trek: Enterprise actors Scott Bakula and Dean Stockwell in an episode of the popular science fiction series Quantum Leap. He then made two appearances on Baywatch (starring his former Perry Mason co-star and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine guest actor Monte Markham) before retiring from acting.
