Hitori Nojima (野島一人 Nojima Hitori?) was a pen name used by author Kenji Yano for a series of Metal Gear novelizations published by Kadokawa Shoten in Japan between 2014 and 2015. Initially his true identity was unknown and for a while it was suspected that the pen name actually belonged to Hideo Kojima himself due to the similarities of their names, although this was later debunked in an interview. Nojima's true identity was later revealed after being credited on the teaser trailer for Death Stranding, Kojima Productions' upcoming collaboration with Sony Interactive Entertainment, following its unveiling in E3 2016.
