A tropical wave exited the coast of Africa on June 4, 2013. A day later, the NHC gave the invest a 20% chance of formation. The wave continued east slowly, and became better organized. On June 9, 50 miles east of Martinique, the NHC noted the formation of Tropical Depression One. After passing by the Lesser Antilles as a weak Tropical Depression, the storm became Tropical Storm Ally on June 11. The storm began to turn Southeast and Tropical storm watches were put into affect from Barranquilla, Colombia to Bluefields, Nicaragua. The watches were made into warnings the following day. Briefly, the NHC showed the storm strengthening into a Hurricane, but at the next advisory, the NHC of did not show this intensification. On June 15, the storm made landfall 5 miles north of Limon, Costa Rica. T
