The Bridgeport Horse Railroad Company was a horsecar operating company in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The company was incorporated in 1864, but the first horsecars operated by the company ran on January 23, 1866. In 1893, the company's routes were taken over by the Bridgeport Traction Company, a streetcar company.
