The main religion is the Order of Helm, though there is also the Order of Lathander and the Order of Talos. Underneath the district are the sewers. The first time you would visit the district, you will find someone called Gaal trying to convince the people of Athkatla that their god, Helm, is completely fake and his god, the Unseeing Eye, is the deity of the one true religion. This starts the Cult of the Unseeing Eye quest.

Jame refers to it as the puzzle-box district at times. The temples of Tai-tastigon are all in this area except for the Temple of the Three-Faced God, the Kencyr temple, which is in the Lower Town.
