With the vanguard was the Void Stone, which the Charon utilized to keep their presence concealed. Eventually, the Void Stone was relocated back to Otherspace, although the time of which was unknown. The Void Stone was rarely encountered by Force-sensitives, and upon such occasions, experienced phenomenal effects in relation to the Force. Any Force-sensitive individual within one hundred meters of the Void Stone would have difficulty using their Force powers effectively, if at all, not unlike the effects of a Terminus Void field. Even those who did not consciously use the Force suffered from an impaired connection to the Force, causing disorientation and difficulty focusing their thoughts. In contrast, Voidborn in proximity to the Void Stone were known to have exhibited augmented Void powers, albeit at the expense of control, similar to the effects of a Voidborn entering into the sphere of a Void occlus.
